I have tried every type of ice traction cleats for years north of Toronto. this is by far the best. I walk every day to Wood pile to get wood, and use them all winter. I have hiked in really nasty rocky / ice, terrain also and they work well there too. Works amazing on Ice that is even covered with water - the slickest - to go ice fishing on lake!Also stays on really well when snowmobiling and I wear them all the time on my snowmobile boots. I have never had them fall off, even while pulling my snowmobile (hundreds of pounds) backwards - I have a good grip and they stay put which is my biggest issue with other brands. I got 2x of these and am going to get them for every pair of winter boots. Maybe even for the odd slip on shoes when i just want to run about outside my house for short trips to the garage so I don't have to throw on boots all the time!

Looking for something else

I have been using the Yaktrax for many years and they usually lasted one or two winters and I was very satisfied with this product. Now this pair, I used about 5 times and the rubber snapped on one foot. When this happens, the product becomes uncomfortable because it is not stable on the shoe. I will be looking for something else next time.

Functional But not long lasting

We live in a small Rocky Mountain town where sidewalks and parking lots get icy so they are used a lot. This is a replacement to a pair that did not last the season. However they are easy to put on, stay on and still safe when walking inside buildings

These cleats lasted 1 day before the rubber snapped and rendered them useless. They work great until they fail which is much too fast. Save your money and avoid this garbage.
