Fits perfect from day one. Have never cut into my munchkin's feet- she has no callouses or blisters and they stay on her feet when running. Easy for a 4 y/o to put on by herself. Makes mornings easier.UPDATE: the velcro stopped working within a month of daily use. I need to rip the threads where it's sewn in and replace/resew. She loved the shoes but when the velcro started to fail she was always tripping on them when they would come undone.
